A simple, highly Decorative early Victorian iron bedstead with soft slow curve frame and featuring a desirable flat wire ‘butterfly’ centre with gravity pressed brass badges to the centre bosses of both head and foot boards. Adapted from a small size frame to the highest standards of fit and finish, probably in the third quarter of the 20th century. Made circa 1870. Quick ship programme.
