Mattresses & Bedstead Bases:
The images shown here of bed ref: 5810B54 depict this bedstead complete with a combined mattress and bedstead height of 35cm (14”). A statement Victorian Brass & Iron bedstead such as this one could accommodate a deeper mattress and base height, but this should not exceed 40cm (16”). One should be mindful that making a bedstead’s overall mattress height either too high or too low can impact the aesthetic integrity of the overall scheme one is seeking to create.
