An extremely rare, early Victorian ‘cartwheel’ iron bedstead. This fine model is built to the most robust standards of the day with very rare to see thick tubes used to make up the petal themed centres. This would have been a real task for the maker to produce and in turn it would still really challenge even the most skill fabrication workshops today! The

Finish / Finishes:
This bedstead was initially grit blasted and zinc phosphate primed and then wet spray painted in a matt black paint finish. The paint is currently gun-state and can be worked further or we can re-finish in stove enamel or a brush painted colour of your choice.
